"Tax time!!!! Please be aware. We went to H&R in sunset square in Bellingham,Wa. We were getting 2021 taxes done. We left there on cloud 9 , we were getting a refund of 15,000 dollars. We were told by Anita we were getting credit for covid relief. In January or February of 2023 we received a letter from IRS stating we owed over $13,800. In back taxes. Turns out instead of covid relief she gave us flood relief. That's fine, however we live in Washington State the flood relief was for Wisconsin. H&R did refund us $6,000 plus they paid late fee and ppenalty. Now this year 2024 we had to pay federal taxes on the $6000 dollar refund. It has been a real nigtmsre. We tried several times to contact branch owner as recommended by H&R corporate and receive no answer."

"Have been waiting 2 months for a call back on my tax return status. Have called/left messages multiple times with no call back or text response. Wouldn't recommend this branch because I used the meridian location last time with great results and, no response delays."

"They seem to have lost my tax papers. I have called 3 times and even went to the office. I called today, the woman said she would look for them and call me back. She didn’t call back! The girl that I saw originally acted like she didn’t know what to do.. had to go ask someone else. She was going to call me when she was done. I have heard nothing. It’s been almost 2 weeks. Will never use this place again!"

"This location has held our tax documents for 1 year, because they are NEVER OPEN to be able to go back and pick them up. Good luck ever getting an appointment or reaching them at any hours"
