"I took my two year old Staffordshire here. We got there and people in the lobby were really nice and sweet to my boy. He’s very well trained and waiting patiently. He is a little scared of strangers but I told the tech what to do to help, and she did it and was able to pet my boy and give treats. The vet, did not listen to anything and insisted he goes in the back with them. He does & all I kept hearing is “don’t get bit” so I tell the receptionist that I want my dog back into the room with me. They put a muzzle on my dog that has never worn one, because he stopped taking treats from them. I told them he’s never worn one and I wasn’t comfortable with it. The tech is pulling my dog as he’s clawing at his face, so he was basically getting chocked. I took my dog and threw off the muzzle. I was upset and ready to leave, and the vet was rude saying I needed to pay, for them traumatizing my dog basically. Another lady didn’t make me pay because they did nothing but hurt my dog. I get home to see that he has a nail ripped off. My dog has never had a bad experience anywhere. This was awful and the vet was scared of him before it started. Gave him no chance at all. Definitely not a place for our bully breeds."

"They are amazing, always so sweet and understand. They are very realistic with what is and isn’t recommended. They care about animals SO much!! When one of our cats passed away, they made the process as easy as it could be in that situation. They have helped ease my anxiety when I go there and always take extra time to let me be emotional! "This is the best vet and not only are all the doctors great, the office staff is amazing as well. I had an elderly poodle mix that lived to 17 under their care. They worked with me to fine tune her medications to give her the best life possible and it bought her more years of life. I loved my dog SO freaking much. She was my best friend and Summit helped me put her down when it was time. They even stayed open late on a holiday eve. I was bawling so hard I couldn’t even function and they were so incredibly kind and gentle with me and my pet. I will always feel grateful for how compassionate they were during the hardest time of my life with having to say goodbye. Summit really touched my life and I am thankful for them."

"Great place to take Man’s best friends. Place is always clean, lobby is roomy for our pets not to run all over each other. The staff is friendly and you can tell they love our animals. I moved to Hillsboro Oregon but still make the drive. They usually have reasonable dates that I can depend getting in without the usual weeks wait. I highly recommend Summit Animal Hospital"
