"My dog was not breathing very well and my usual vet could not get her in. Her heath was dire so I brought her to Columbia River Specialist and they were able to get her right in,diagnosed what she had and started her treatments. It took two days to get her bronchial pneumonia under control. I was comforted knowing my pet was observed 24/7. The doctors continually gave me updates and I am so grateful for the excellent care my puppy got there and would do so again if the need arose. The doctors, techs and the front office folks were excellent and empathetic toward my pet and me. The physicians kept me informed and answered my questions about my dogs future health. The cost of treatment was high but the round-the -clock care of these dedicated people gave to my pet was fantastic! A week home and she is doing great! THANK YOU ALL!"

"We had to take our two dogs in on a Saturday evening due to an ingestion of some toxic leaves. When we arrived, staff was expecting us and had already checked us in. The vet techs took our dogs and checked their vitals, and we got right in to see the vet. The doctor very clearly explained what the treatment involved, and that the dogs would have to stay at least overnight (12 hours) to make sure all of the poison was flushed from their system. We were given a written estimate for the services they were to perform. We went home, hoping our pups were in good hands. We called the next morning and spoke with one of the vets, who gave us a very thorough progress update. We called in again a couple of more times as one dog had to stay 24 hours and the other 36 hours. The front desk, vet techs and doctors we spoke with were all extremely friendly and helpful. No one wants to have to go through an situation like this, but it really helped that everyone at CRVS was so considerate and helpful. I would certainly recommend them if you have a pet emergency in the Vancouver WA area."

"Brought my pup in for an ophthalmology appointment with Dr Alls. Honestly the only reason I’m upset is because we can’t have her as a primary vet. Probably the best vet visit ever. She explained everything in every little detail possible for a whole hour and gave us many treatment options. Yes, specialty appointments are pricey. It was 300$ for an office visit and 100$ for meds. 100% worth it. We were told the ointment will take 1-3 months for us to see any results. It’s only been one week and I’m already seeing less eye discharge. Prior to this visit we saw our vet 3 times and tried different medications and nothing worked. Also, amazing staff! I am 10/10 satisfied with the care provided."

"I just want to thank the staff for helping Ryder, he was having seizures and was in pain. We showed up around midnight and where there tell 2am and they where so thoughtful, supportive, updates, options, I was very upset, more in shock, I didn’t know what was gonna happen. And I am just so grateful Ryder is doing good, and we have a plan to keep him healthy and happy. Thank you guys very very much, my family is very grateful!"
