"Had an unfortunate accident dropping my iPad while it was plugged in. The lightning cable bent and the tip broke off inside of the port. Alex was able to remove the broken piece, saving the iPad to live on a few more years. Great customer service over the phone and in person. Very clean shop and they offer a wide variety of services including building custom computers!"

"EDITED: at the bottom, responding to owner comment Second time dealing with these guys and seems to be bait and switch each time. First time was about four years ago, I made an inquiry to their website about purchasing a used android tablet under $150 and was told "We have over a dozen different Samsung and android tablets in that price range, I recommend stop by and look at what we have, I’m sure you’ll leave with one." When I got to the store they literally had ONE tablet in that price range and it was a kindle, so not what I wanted...a waste of time. I responded back to the email and never heard from them again Second time was today, the touchscreen on my daughter's 7" tablet has been very erratic, wasn't working at all yesterday and today would only sometimes work. After reading reviews on repair, I thought maybe they would better at that than they are at sales. I called them and explained and was told "Yeah, just bring it in and give us 5 or 10 minutes to try and diagnose the problem to see if we can repair it, and we'll give you a quote" I bring it in, she takes the tablet out of the case, scans the barcode and says "It will be $99 to take a look at it and if we need to replace the screen it's an extra $49". I really wish they would just be honest over the phone, if they would have told me the diagnoses was $99 it would have saved everyone's time. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Lesson learned EDIT: In response to the owner's reply, I would have accepted that IF the employee actually took even a second to have a "basic and fundamental" look. She literally picked it up and scanned it in, never once actually trying to use the unit, never checked any settings. Oddly enough the unit started working fine a few days later, glad I saved my $99 and I stand by my review."

"Went to Fixoid thinking I needed a new charging port for my iPhone. The employee working that day, Elizabeth, said I just needed it cleaned. Took her like 5 minutes to clean it for me. I thought that it was cool she did that for me, given she could have just done the repair without checking and charged me. She was super quick and nice!"

"They are very knowledgeable and are a huge help when it comes to fixing electronics. My phone was having trouble staying connected to my charging cord and they were able to determine the issue and fix it quickly. Would definitely recommend. A lot of these 1 star reviews I feel are fake or people complaining because they don't understand how certain electronics work."
