"Husband’s personal bike went out on us on the Discovery Trail. We found tsunami bike shop and they tried to help fix it on the spot! It is a fix that will take time so we rented a e-bike from them and we were on our way! We were able to do are ride and the gentleman working went above and beyond to help!!! Thank you very much. "I’ve been coming down to the beach and renting bikes from this company for the past four years, and it’s been a great experience up until this visit. I rented an electric bike, and road it for about an hour and a half. My fiancé and I stopped on the path for a quick picture together in front of the view, and went to keep riding. When getting back on my bike, the electric assist and throttle were not working, so we pulled back over on the path and turned the bike off and on twice, and then the electric started working again. After that, there was not a single issue with the bike for our ride up to the lighthouse and all the way back, but when we got back to the rental place, I thought I should let them know what happened. When I told the worker the electric assist stopped working, the first thing he asked was if I had crashed, to which I replied no. He inspected the bikes, told us we were good to go, and we left it at that. The next day I get a call asking to come down to the rental shop to talk, where the worker then proceeds to accuse me of breaking the bike, or crashing the bike and causing it to break. I was very careful on the bike, and respectful of their rules. I was even wearing the same pants as the day before, and showed him they were clean, and I had not crashed. The bike also had no scratches from being crashed. I only told him about the issue I was having because I thought it would be nice for him to be aware, but instead he accused me of causing the issues. Definitely will not be renting this place anytime soon, but luckily, Long Beach has many other great rental bike options!"

"My ebike fell off my bike rack going up a steep hill & was seriously thrashed. The handlebar was smashed on one side & I wasn’t certain what other damage was done. I was in Long Beach to pull my dog, who has cancer, on her last rides in her dog trailer - so I needed this bike. Despite being very busy due to the Kite Festival, Tony was able to assess & fix my bike within 24 hours! He not only replaced the handlebar and moved all the electronics & gear on it perfectly, but was able to give me a used mirror and do a safety check. Then he went above & beyond by greasing my chain, checking my disc brakes, and even cleaned the frame. When I walked into Tsunami Cycle to pickup my repaired ebike, it was shining! On top of this, his prices were reasonable. I feel very lucky to have found Tsunami Cycle. Tony is a great mechanic with excellent customer service skills. And if he can’t fix your bike for some odd reason, they have rentals too! I am thankful that now I get to take my dog on one last trip in her trailer. 5 stars indeed!"
