"Our baseboard heater stopped working this winter and we called Al’s to take a look at it. We have not owned our house for long and didn’t know the governing thermostat for the living room was in the laundry room. Turning that thermostat was all that needed to be done. Somehow that cost $190. Guy was super nice but was only here for 15 minutes or so and did no labor beyond unscrewing the heater faceplate and screwing it back on. I’ll call someone else next time."

"The house next to us is getting remodeled and the contractors leave trash all over our yard and the street. I don’t know which specific contractors are littering, but Al littered his business card, so he’s definitely getting a mediocre review. Please clean up your mess!"

"Had been without hot water for a month and a friend recommended Al’s , and called them for me to explain the problem of a possible underground leak. Tony Garcia came the next morning at 7:30! and was amazing getting under and around the various walls in my 105 year old home’s crawl space. Took a bit to figure out all the ins and outs from very old to relatively new pipes but he did it and I am so grateful. Haven’t received the bill yet but feel comfortable that this is an honest ,hardworking LOCAL company and take great comfort in knowing I now have any plumbing/ electrical problems covered in the future! "I called Al's to have plumbing and electric to have my washer and dryer hook ups moved, as well as putting in a gas connection for my stove. I received a quote for about $1,200.00 for all the work. Received my bill and it was almost $2,500.00! I was charged $700 in extras... it was apparently extra to remove the old washer pipe connections, which should have been part of the original quote since I asked to have them "moved", plus an hour for moving furniture out of the way, when it only took them 15 minutes. Again, this should have been included in the original quote, as the fact that the furniture would need to be moved was discussed. As it was explained to me, I was also charged for "travel time" which had not been included in the original quote. The guys who showed up were different from the person who did the estimate and had no instructions on where anything was going - I got charged for the 15 minutes i had to take explain everything to them. If you have a budget and need an accurate quote for the cost of the work, don’t use this company. At least the work was done right, as far as I can tell, but being charged half again as much as I expected was ridiculous."

"Customer Service was very professional when called for an appointment, scheduled for next day which was perfect. Eric showed up on time, solved the issue quickly. Will use Al’s Electrical again in the future!"
