"Awesome experience ! Would highly recommend, and will definitely do this again. Not only is the experience educational, and exciting - you get to take away a piece of your own art that will always be a great memento and conversation piece. Very friendly and knowledgeable artists on staff that are highly safety-conscious. The hot shop is really clean and organized too. It is the perfect activity for a cold, rainy day."
"We had a great time blowing glass for the first time here! It was super hands on and we enjoyed learning about the process and making our own ornaments! We’ll keep them forever! Such a great present to receive! Illus was the best instructor with a great balance of teaching and actual hands on glass blowing. Would recommend him and the Seattle Glassblowing Studio to anyone!"
"We had an absolutely amazing experience with making our own paperweight. William was my instructor and he walked me through every step of the process while explaining what was happening with the glass. Since we chose a sculpted piece, William took the time to show us how blown glass happens. We highly recommend visiting this studio and even making your own piece."
"Matt was an incredible instructor! We made 8 pieces during our 3 hour lesson. He let us have creative control over our pieces and ensured that everything was successful. He clearly loves this form of art and seemed just as excited as we were to be there. Matt was great at teaching my 12 year old how to use the tools and encouraged her to be able to do the steps on her own. His confidence and skills led to such a rewarding experience for all of us. We will definitely be back again!"
"If you’re even slightly interested, you have to do this! Even if you have no artistic ability and/or nervous about handling hot melted glass. The instructors are very knowledgeable and professional, and will guide you every step of the way. Also a good place to pick up a unique gift, as they have lots of glass figurines and sculptures in every size, color and price range. They also have a huge selection of glass blowing supplies."
