The Redhawk Center is a gym and health institution located at 550 14th Avenue in Seattle, Washington, United States. With a focus on great teaching and experiential learning, the Redhawk Center is known for its inclusive campus that fosters community and belonging. Located in a global hub for tech and innovation, Seattle University empowers leaders through a values-based education, preparing students to shape the world for the better. In a recent transformative gift, philanthropist Richard Hedreen donated a $300M art collection to Seattle University, along with seed money to fund an art museum. The institution also offers diverse works by faculty authors for students to expand their reading list. Nursing undergraduates at Seattle University have made significant contributions, turning a year-long population health internship into a peer-reviewed journal article calling for change to lower mortality rates among Black mothers.
