"Making me a piece of custom jewelry. Not making me anything, as the piece they ordered to make custom , broke coming out of package, they offered to gold plate a sterling silver piece to try and stick with what I wanted and I was offended as I'm not down for gold plating sterling silver to go with a gold chain, and there was nothing else they could do. Fred Meyer jewelers is like a top ten jeweler yet don't sell what I'm looking for so will probably never consider them again, they should feel shame for being a top jeweler yet can't make a simple piece"
"We didn't just purchase rings for our wedding at this Fred Meyer Jewelers; we were given the gift of respect and joy from Rachael (the team member that helped us). We went in just expecting to purchase a set of simple wedding bands but ended up with pieces that celebrated who we are and what our 7 years of love and commitment means. No big deal, right? That'd be true in many cases, but for us it meant so much more. As a queer couple, the level of excitement and joy, of welcoming and belonging that Rachael created means more than we can express in this little review. We felt seen, heard, and cared for. We were celebrated. And now, every single day when we look at our rings and remember our commitment to one another we will also have the joy of remembering this experience. "Thank you" seems so small a thing to say in the scope of what you've done for us, but it's what we have to give. So, Rachael, Thank you."
"Very disappointed in how my situation was resolved. After purchasing a piece of jewelry my credit card was charged twice for the same amount. As soon as I realized the mistake I called the stores to speak to a representative. I was on the phone for 20 minutes plus, half the time on hold. I was told everything thing from the mistake being the banks fault to cancel the the transaction (they still had possession of the ring) and I would be contacted later in the evening...never happened. Then I was told that a representative would resolve the issue the following day before noon and if I didn’t hear back I would have to travel to the store, which I had to do. Taking time off from work that needed attending to. After waiting and having a number of discussions I left (being told someone would contact me later). The fact they blamed it on the bank (I had talked to the bank earlier and was assured it was not their fault) nor would they credit my bank card saying they weren’t allowed to do that (really?). Two days later my card was reimbursed for the double charge. The only one that ever apologized was the sales lady who had sold me the jewelry and it was not her fault. All-in-all I wasted for hours of my time, plus driving back and forth. One would think the corporate office would have made an effort to apologize....never will I or friends I talk to shop there again."
"Bought a watch for a gentleman for Christmas, our sales person was nice. Kept showing us stuff above our set budget but what ever, we knew what we were going to spend. While my husband was checking out I asked another sales lady to clean my ring. She brought it behind closed doors blew some air on it and said "You will have to soak it for hours to get it clean SORRY" I knew she didn't clean it! I asked the gal that sold us the watch to please clean it and WEIRD that it came back looking brand new. Kinda scandalous of the first gal if you ask me."
