"I could never say enough good things about Virtue Taekwondo. We found this dojang during covid, and I'm so happy we did! Master George and Master Gabriel have made it so much more than just a place to get a black belt. They've created a community of people who love and support one another whole heartedly. They've created a space where everyone feels wanted and important. They've taught my children what it means to have respect for their leaders, parents, and peers. They've taught my kids to have confidence in themselves and to push themselves and grow beyond what they thought they could. There's no question that they love my children and want the best for them. I recommend Virtue to everyone who will listen!"
"This is amazing school with skilled masters. My son is learning and enjoying the taekwondo since 2022. Virtue is so accommodative variety of kids kneeling down to teach best skills for defense. Masters here are more professional, taking care of each individual kid at his/her level to boost, improve and up skill. I recommend with full confidence for Virtue, I feel my son is with two Gems."
"We love Virtue Taekwondo. The instructors are so kind and patient with the kids but still very informative and disciplined. It’s been such a positive experience for our son."
"Virtue Taekwondo is a family-owned, family-run taekwondo dojang (studio) that has been a tremendous blessing to my 10-year-old son—and to me, a 44-year-old obese man and also a student. I've known since childhood that martial arts is about building character, and not merely self-defense. However, I've never seen character-development "baked in" to martial arts instruction more explicitly and more effectively than at Virtue. Each belt-promotion requires students to explain and have demonstrated a different virtue: faith (belief in oneself); respect; humility; commitment; fortitude; self-discipline; and confidence. In fact, the class pledge, recited by students together at the end of each class, reinforces these virtues, requiring students to pledge to "believe above all, and lead with respect; place others before self," and so on. Students therefore learn, not just how to be increasingly better martial artists, but also--and more importantly--how to be increasingly better human beings. I see this happening in both my son and myself. Virtue Taekwondo isn't just a taekwondo dojang; it's also a community—a warm, welcoming, loving, and supportive community. The instructors go above and beyond to get to know us students. They show interest in our lives. They celebrate when we have things to celebrate; they grieve when we have things to grieve. Though expecting excellence from us, they are nevertheless patient and gentle with us. They arrange numerous opportunities for students and parents to fellowship and grow with each other. I've seldom felt so loved and cared about by teachers of any variety. Taekwondo instruction at Virtue is proving particularly beneficial to me. I'm a self-conscious, 44-year-old obese man, and when I decided to enroll and join my son in training, I was beyond nervous, but the instructors and other students—adults and children alike—have been consistently friendly and encouraging from the beginning. I struggle to find cardio exercise I enjoy and will stick with, and taekwondo fits the bill: fun and challenging. I've also always been something of a klutz, and taekwondo is giving me increased coordination and control of my limbs. And having done a lot of heavy weightlifting but very little activity requiring balance and flexibility, I'm developing both through taekwondo. So besides being an activity I can share with my son, and besides making us more virtuous people and more competent martial artists, Virtue Taekwondo is also making me a physically healthier, middle-aged adult, no doubt adding years to my life. I'll forever be so very thankful to Masters Gabriel, George, and Maria, for what they've done and continue to do for my son and me. I can't sing the praises of Virtue Taekwondo highly enough, and if you're looking for martial arts instruction, you won't find better than Virtue Taekwondo."
"My son loves it here, he has learned so much. It not only teaches Taekwondo but teaches the student respect towards the parents. Master George and Master Gabriel are very professional, friendly and know each students by their name and focuses individually on each student. The best part - they're growing in balance, speed, power and confidence all the way along. Love it..! Strongly recommend this place."
