"Our kids love Seattle White Tiger Kung Fu! Our oldest expressed an interest in learning martial arts a couple of years ago. We started trialing several studios, but he always felt disconnected from the lessons and unnoticed by the teachers. He would slink to the back of the class, overwhelmed, and walk away from the classes never knowing if he was doing the technique right. Then he found Seattle White Tiger Kung Fu. Right away, we noticed this place was different. The owner is great at providing individual feedback within the class environment, which has helped our kids gain confidence in their abilities. We also love the flexibility of the older kid class schedule, and our oldest often asks to attend as many classes as possible in a given week. When asked what he loves most about class, he replied “all of it, but especially learning forms and weapons”. Our youngest joined the Tiny Tigers class a few months ago, and her favorite part of class is the climbing rope, which has been a giant confidence booster since she learned to scale it (it’s high!) and remarks often about how strong she is. Instruction is fast-paced and challenging, and we couldn’t be more happy with our kids’ progress there. Highly recommend!"

"This is the place to go to for Martial arts training for many reasons. Mr. Scott offers youth and adult classes. It started for us in 2015. A few of my kid's classmate's parents gave high ratings about this studio. My kids were 3 and 6 at the time when we dropped in to observe. My 6 year old joined first and my almost 4 year old joined a few months later because he saw how fun it was to learn martial arts. It's been 8 years, and both of my teenagers are still training with Mr. Scott. Mr. Scott has demonstrated his impressive decades of experience in martial arts. He has taught self-defense, many fighting techniques/forms, physical strength, discipline, and has helped build confidence in the kids. It is apparent that the kids are learning skills to defend themselves and they are also speaking up more. The additional plus here is that the kids are also able to spend their energy doing something physical, instead of sitting around with video games or social media. If you are looking for a place to learn martial arts or simply find a reason to stay active, this place is a gem."
