Cheney Stadium

"Terrible experience from a few years back; with TPD located in each row of parking, and security walking the parking lot, my truck was broken into, and no one saw a thing, with quite a bit of valuables stolen. I asked the team staff via email about their protocols, and they said they don't hold any responsibility within the parking lot, despite the amount of personnel dedicated to it. And then gave me a huge stink over asking to be removed from their email list. I suppose not taking responsibility for your property is par for the course with these organizations, but continuing to mail me ticket info after I ask to be removed, and giving me grief over communicating it in a few emails until it was done? I wouldn't recommend this stadium or the Rainiers for maintaining a laundromat, let alone organizing a baseball game."

"Had a great time watching the game with my wife, who got our tickets. I'm more into football, but this was a great game!!! Great venue as well! Cheney Stadium is very nice, and easy to get around."

"We had a girlfriend day and went to the stadium for the first time in a few years. The staff are so friendly and the venue is great. One of our friends was in a walking boot, and the left field parking lot had limited handicap parking available. We never went to our seats but sat in the R Bar for the view, drinks, and fire. The bartenders and security staff were awesome! The security person noticed our friend was in a walking boot and came to make sure we were okay and our visit was a great experience."

"Had Club level seats for my first-ever Rainier's game! Was a good time there, as the announcer and mascot (Rhubarb the Reindeer) interacts with the crowd. Offers a wide variety of eateries, a decent selection of craft beers, but definitely need to upgrade their wine. I did not pay attention to prices on (adult) beverages, since they were included with Club seating, so I am unable to comment on pricing, nor did I purchase any food items. Overall experience was great and would go back again!"

"My hubby and I arrived an hour before the game started at the Cheney stadium. The parking lot was open. There were notices here and there saying that only clear bags could be brought into this stadium. Our seats were too hot and sunny, so we moved to the shade. We chose hot dogs to eat at the baseball game. It was good choice! It was The Tacoma Rainier vs. Salt Lake game. The game started in a warm atmosphere and I couldn't stay until the end, However, the local Rainier team hit a home run and scored four points. At that point, Rainier was winning 8-4. Watching a baseball game at Cheney Stadium for the first time was a good experience."
