"We're a small service-based business that moved from Hillsboro, OR to Vancouver, WA in 2016. We started using Shields Tax & CPA shortly after our move, and they have made our lives so much easier - I couldn't give them a higher recommendation! I use to spend a ridiculous amount of time preparing our business taxes, and I would always worry if I was doing them right or if I could have done them better. Handing all of that over to Shields has given me peace of mind and saved me several weeks worth of work and headache - they even helped us file in a way that saved us ~$10k in self-employment tax! There's no question here that we will be using them for a long time. July 2019 update: Shields Tax & CPA has easily saved our small family business $20k/year in taxes, and for the last 2 years we've had them file our individual returns as well. They've found deductions we didn't even know about that more than covered the cost of their service - and they are more than willing to spend the time to walk through all of our questions. 5 stars! March 2024 update: As our small family business has grown, so have our needs for bookkeeping and tax consulting. Shields has helped us manage this growth by offering tailored small-business services so I don't have to worry about our finance division anymore. We now also use them for full-time bookkeeping, project tracking, and finance projections, which has made a huge difference in how we plan for the crazy cash-flow cycles we have in our business!
