"Absolutely terrible!!! These people had my already late taxes for six months, the communication was terrible, it seems like they don’t know anything about tax write offs or business accounting, and when questioned, they threatened to ditch me as a client. I most definitely would not recommend Hurliman. Incidentally, the guy that owns it doesn’t even have a CPA license so beware, his name is Nick. I retrieved my documents from them and found another CPA there in the end turned a $20,000 tax liability to a $4000 tax liability."

"I could go on and on about the issues that I have experienced with Hurliman CPA. We signed up for their bookkeeping and tax services for our small business in 2021. We had nothing but problems since. #1 We were to receive monthly P&L statements. The entire 16 months we were with them, we did not receive 1 single P&L. #2 They were unresponsive and did not follow up on my questions or concerns without repeated follow-up. #3 They billed me like clockwork but were not providing the services. #4 they messed up our taxes. They couldn't keep straight if we were an LLC or an S-Corp. They filed as if we were an S-Corp, but we were not an s-corp! #5 After I hired a new accountant (who is AMAZING), they found that Hurliman had overstated our 2022 revenue by tens of thousands of dollars. My new accountant was able to clean up my books and reconcile withing 2 weeks! #6 My 2021 Taxes were not filed until January 2023!! When I called to cancel and complain, I was to send an email to Nick the owner outlining my complaints. I was fuming at the time and told them "no" if they wanted to hear my complaints, the owner can call me. I NEVER HEARD A WORD FROM HIM #7 THEY CONTINUED TO BILL ME AFTER I CANCELLED!!! As of today, $500 is still being debited from my account for SERVICES NOT RENDERED!"

"DO NOT USE! They did not file my taxes AT ALL, didn't tell me they didn't file, and wouldn't return my phone calls. I had to call the tax agency after a week of no returned calls, to find out my taxes were never filed. Hire them at your own risk! A signed contract means nothing to these folks!"
