Reviews of Jobin Roofing
"Working with Jobin Roofing was such an incredible experience. Michael who did the estimate was so thorough answering questions and explaining how the process would go. He stayed tethered to the process throughout. The team on the roof and the project managers were HARD workers. 12 hour days with complete and spotless cleanup each night. Most impressive to me ( from someone who has spent a career in customer service) was the communication channels. Everybody was reachable. Everybody was always on time. I never once felt like I could not get a question answered. Jobin was referred by my realtor and I would whole heartedly recommend them for any roofing job you may have. You will appreciate the peace of mind."
"I imagine that if you only need a roof replaced you’ll have a positive experience with Jobin--they are kind people who have tons of positive reviews. Unfortunately, my experience here was unnecessary frustration from start to finish and a really shoddy overall product that left a super sour taste in my mouth. To be fair: mine was a special case with soffit and fascia work that ended up being more than expected. However, I purposefully chose Jobin because they said they had the ability to do that work. (Spoiler: they did not have the ability to do that work, well or even at all.) Fast forward to the week the roof is getting put on, and I'm told that Jobin can do the fascia but not the soffits, and they have a contractor I can coordinate with so they don’t have to “be the middle man.” To be fair: they were trying their best. But all this simply could have been avoided if in July when I got the quote I was told “You know what, this really isn’t our wheelhouse. We recommend you get these soffits and fascia repaired by a contractor and then we’ll come in and do the roof.” But that’s not what happened. Jobin said they could handle it, and then they couldn’t handle it, and I was tasked with scrambling to find a contractor in a stressful workweek. I got someone to help me with the soffits, Casey reached out to him to ask about the project and get alignment on his side of the work. The problem is that nothing that we explained to him about the project seemed to be understood or get communicated to the team ACTUALLY doing the work. I had multiple conversations with Casey, only to have the team come and do something different. We needed space below where the fascia lay in order to install a trim piece that would seal it underneath. That space wasn’t left and the team put the new fascia about an inch higher than the old one, so the trim piece underneath just sticks out like a mess. Worse than that, the team that replaced the fascia looked like they really couldn’t have cared less whether the final product was clean, or even aligned. I know my house is a finicky 1960’s with some issues, but it’s nothing some shivs and care couldn’t have addressed. Instead, the finished product showed that the team just wanted to get it done–and that my house didn’t really matter to them one way or another. Now I have water pooling in between my brand new fascia and gutters because of this issue--and the whole reason I had to replace them in the first place was because of excess moisture. Cool. I imagine if someone was on the ground communicating the need to the team that WE communicated to Casey, this might have been averted. The team dropped the ball and then I was told “sorry we missed the mark on this one," as if the shoddy work, the slanted overhang, and resulting water issues were simply an acceptable casualty that happens sometimes. Final thoughts: If you only need a roof, you’ll probably be pleased with Jobin. They are kind people, who seem to want to do well. (Shoutout to Savannah in the office, who was so patient). But if you have more issues, I'd find a company with more in-house contractors OR a member of the leadership team who will effectively communicate any issues from an external contractor to the roofing team. PRO: the roof got torn off and put on in two days. They were fast and on time. CONS: Everyone from the gutter installers to neighbors to yard workers to other contractors have commented on how shoddy the slope is. They also left trash and a tonnnnn of nails all over (including backyard, where I walk barefoot). The communication from top management to team is terrible, and left me frustrated, stressed, overwhelmed, and disappointed with a project that was a huge deal for me to afford. I would encourage Jobin to not do any contract work on projects moving forward, to keep their hands out of a niche that they don’t have the ability for. My thought is: if you wouldn’t put any of the photos I have on your website for potential clients, then you shouldn’t perform this service or charge for it in the future."
"My roof was leaking and I thought it was a simple little branch. Brendan came out to my house to place an emergency tarp. He discovered the branch had punctured my roof, and the base of the tree branch was 3 feet long into the roof. Due to the branch size, the branch could not be safely removed. Brendan went above and beyond going up into the attic finding the wet spot in the insulation. He laid down a tarp and a bucket to catch the rain. He promptly notified me of the situation and I needed an arborist to extract the stump out of my roof. I was also advised on the requirements of what it would take to replace this part of my roof. He will meet with the Insurance adjuster to explain my specific needs. I highly recommend Jobin Roofing for their quality excellence, customer service, and prompt response to an emergency. situation. Thank you Brendan!!!"
"Jobin Roofing is next level roofing. Their customer service is better than anyone else. Michael arranged everything and got us a quick, fair estimate. We had a tight timeframe, they squeezed us in. Communication was great. They called and FaceTimed during the project from the roof to clarify a few points. Quality of the roof and warranty were great. I would highly highly recommend!"
"Jobin Roofing has been great to work with. Aaron (great guy) did a very comprehensive roof inspection and a detailed proposal. Brendan and Casey were fantastic to work with. Casey was on site during most of the work and would keep me up-to-date on each step of the removal and work being done with accompanying photos. Casey‘s follow up after the job was completed for minor manufacturing issues discovered on the skylights has been outstanding. Jobin Roofing had the complete roofing project, including tear off, new underlayment and shingle installation, replacement of all roof vents with metal vents, water damage areas repaired, code required roof intake, ventilation additions, five new skylights installed and site cleanup accomplished in a day and a half. Office staff members Savannah and Lindsay have been very responsive and great to work with. Overall, Jobin Roofing, right down to Isaiah, who did final cleanup, were great folks to work with. They did the work as promised in a competent and timely manner. I highly recommend them for your roofing needs."
