"Do not come here! I came here to get my ring cleaned and the associate told me I couldn’t because my diamonds were loose and needed set. So she tried to insist that I pay to get my diamonds set. Which was ridiculously overpriced compared to the average price to set loose diamonds. I was curious because more than once (only at Fred Meyer jewelers) have they tried to tell me my diamonds were loose. I took my ring to another jeweler and after a very thorough inspection, was told that they were firmly in place and did NOT need set. This has happened more than once. It’s unfortunate that they try to take advantage of customers thinking they aren’t smart enough to do some digging. Never coming here again. Save your money and go to a real jeweler who doesn’t have dishonest employees."

"SERVICE IS POOR, REALLY ONLY WANT TO HELP YOU IF YOU LOOK LIKE YOU'LL SPEND MONEY! I had recently been in there to replace a battery in a watch that I owned. They said they couldn't do it, so I went to the Gresham Fred Meyer Jewelers and those guys replaced the battery no problem. I mentioned that the Sandy Fred Meyer Jewelers couldn't replace the battery, and the guy said that they could do it, they just didn't want to. Then I went to the Sandy Fred Meyer Jewelers again today to get some links taken out of my watch and they said they couldn't do it again. It is an ordinary watch band, I don't see a reason why they don't have the tool. Wouldn't Fred Meyer supply them with that tool. It seems like they are only in it for the money. Obviously every store is, but I felt like EVERYTHING was about the money. Earlier this year, we came in looking for a Pandora bracelet and some charms, they said they didn't have Pandora but they had another brand very close. They seemed very helpful and nice (probably because we had the potential of spending a couple hundred dollars), but looking back at my several previous experiences, it seems like they don't really want to help you if you don't look like someone they can make money on."
