"Todd made my engagement ring, and it’s absolutely perfect. The whole process with him went so well, he listened to what I wanted and gave really helpful input. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. Thank you Todd!"
"Highly recommend! Very knowledgeable and experienced!"
"Alright, real talk… Todd Passerini is the alpha of diamond dealers in all of Portland. There is no competition; as one would imagine a good man shops around. If you want a dollar a dozen diamond you can go anywhere else that needs to advertise on TV or the radio. Diamonds by Passerini doesn’t have the time for that as Todd himself is all the advertisement needed. Todd bleeds luxury goods, and he knows the best. From his perfectly quaffed hair, to his working-man manicured hands. From his white rattlesnake boots to his velvet suit, you know immediately upon introduction, this man does not accept anything less than the best. As soon as you meet him, the inquiries come. He first got to know me and my beautiful bride-to-be. He then curated a distilled selection of options for me, as delicately refined as my woman. We bought the ring on the spot and it was the best decision I have ever made towards taking myself and my relationship to the next level. Since proposing I have had the absolute pleasure of watching the reaction on the faces of those who see what I have worked four jobs to accomplish. I can’t tell who is happier: my fiancé or myself. I have seen middle-aged women drop their jaws and hit their husbands in public. I have sheepishly smiled as I ask inquirers, “what is zirconium?”. The satisfaction I have now, I have never thought I would be able to enjoy, let alone be proud of. If you want to keep up with the Joneses you can go to Jared. If you want your fiancé to fit in with the other new brides-to-be, there are plenty of other options I’m not willing to list. But if you’re looking for a diamond as representationally radiant as your woman... You already know where to go. Diamonds by Passerini. Are you someone who is willing to do what it takes to not just make her happy, but proud? Diamonds by Passerini. Do you want the satisfaction of knowing you worked with the best to have the best? Diamonds by Passerini. The verdict is obvious and the signs are clear. You are reading this right now… because you’re not going to settle for anything less than… Diamonds by Passerini. I chose to commit and put my money where my mouth is. I chose Diamonds by Passerini. Love you Todd."
"I wish I didn’t have to post this review but this business owner’s behavior, professionalism and quality of workmanship was so poor that I feel compelled to warn others before they make the mistake of trusting him with what should be a wonderful and joyful experience! I met Todd a few months ago through a dear friend who was working with him to fix her husband’s wedding ring for the third time. That should have been a red flag enough but Todd was extremely persistent in his salesmanship and was all of a sudden in the middle of making me a new tanzanite ring and two gold/diamond belly button rings. I received the tanzanite ring first and not only was it more expensive than originally quoted, it was so uncomfortable that I can’t even wear it. It looked beautiful but it was so uncomfortable. I reached out to Todd several times about it and he only tried to pressure me into purchasing yet another set of rings to hopefully “fix” the problem. I eventually became so uncomfortable and frustrated with that process that I cancelled the order, it was just ridiculous. In the meantime, he delivered my custom diamond and gold belly button rings. The entire time Todd pretended like he knew what he was doing and had made several belly button rings but when they were delivered, they were made completely wrong and the design was faulty (See picture)...his “final” product which is obviously flawed. When I tried to explain it, he took zero responsibility for it but took them back irritatingly and said he would do what I wanted…which was basically to have a ball on one side to prevent the ring from falling out. There is no way that he has ever made something like this before or he would have known the design was flawed from the beginning. I should have at that point just asked for a refund and just scrapped the belly button rings but Todd is insistent and pushy and never gives anyone the chance to share their concerns without feeling like he is condescending you or making you feel stupid for having an opinion or question. When I received the ring back, I was still bummed to see that the part that screws in was the actual diamond and not the ball which is a design flaw and what lead to the most awful part of this situation. I was too frustrated and exhausted to say anything because of the way he treats people and I felt dumb for even questioning him…now that I have spoken with true jewelry professionals and experts, I know that his design was indeed flawed and he had no idea what he was doing or how to make a safe and functional belly button ring (The gold ball should be the part that screws in and the diamond is permanently attached to the stem in order to keep it safer from loss or falling out…therefore foolproof). To make a long story, shorter, he sent my completed belly button rings to me via mail on Dec 29th, I received them the first week of January…wore the gold and diamond piece for less than two weeks and the diamond fell out to be lost forever. I called Todd to share with him what happened and let him know that the design was actually flawed and he completely went crazy on me on the phone, said it was my fault that I screwed it in wrong and that it was perfect when he gave them to me and then hung up the phone. It was as if a grown man turned into a child, threw a complete tantrum and not only didn’t want to hear about my situation or try to help but took zero responsibility and melted into a tirade. This man has now made me three pieces of jewelry all that have major flaws in their design and are either unwearable or missing completely and I’m working with a different professional jeweler who saw that issues and offered solutions immediately. Not only have I wasted literally thousands of dollars working with this person but he's inappropriate with texts messages as well. I recommend steering clear of this man and his business, I wish I had followed my gut sooner but I’m grateful that I’ve found professionals who know what they are doing and can help me recover the pieces I'm stuck with."
"Beware! Todd Passerini has proven to be an unethical and deceitful person to work with. He has refused to pay legitimate invoices for material goods that cost over $200, which amounts to STEALING. I would never work with this company as I don’t believe I could trust that any work will be completed honestly. This is the kind of shady behavior that gives independent jewelers a bad name."
