"I adopted a pitbull in 2017, he is still the best dog ever and I’m so grateful I found him there."
"We stopped in while driving by and were told that they don't allow people to meet the animals without going through an application process and making an appointment. I agree wholeheartedly that there needs to be an application and vetting process to place dogs in appropriate homes. Unfortunately, turning potential loving homes away, by making the process too cumbersome upfront, is not fair to the dogs. The application and vetting can be done after a visit. The goal should be to help these poor animals find a home."
"We didn't go to the bark house just the office. Wonderful nice people there. We went to the event on laurdsen Blvd to look for a dog. That event could have been a lot better, they could have had the dogs walking on leashes and not in kennels, they were so scared that they were passing and pooping in the kennels and that's not something potential adopters want to see. Next time they definitely should be walking on leashes and saying hi to all the people. There was a giant parking lot that the volunteers could have been walking them in. Or sit down in chairs and hold them on leashes. They must not have had many volunteers for the event."
"Adopted our latest furbaby from here. Fergus is such a good boy! Easygoing, housetrained, loving, and well behaved! We are so lucky!"
"The people are so caring and they truly want to find forever homes for the animals, but they also want to make sure they are a good match. I have adopted 2 pets, and both times I have welcomed home the most precious, loving, and sweet animals that were so happy to have finally found a home. I give online and drop off donations when I can to help support this very worthy cause."
