About the Business
PNW Ryuei Ryu Ryuhou Kan Dojo is a traditional Okinawan Karate institution located at 3700 Martin Way East in Olympia, Washington. Our dojo is dedicated to sharing the philosophy of achieving excellence through dedication and effort in the pursuit of perfection. Karate is not just a physical expression of martial prowess, but a way of improving oneself in all aspects including compassion, mindfulness, and spirituality.
Our affordable tuition of $65 per month per person makes it accessible for everyone to join our classes. Ryuei Ryu is a traditional Okinawan Karate style that was brought to the USA in 1979 by Kyoshi Tomohiro Arashiro from Okinawa. We are the only official Ryuei Ryu dojo in the Pacific Northwest region and are affiliated with the Pan-American Ryuei Ryu organization ORRKKO.
In addition to Karate training, we also offer Kobudo training which focuses on traditional Okinawan weapons such as Bo, Sai, and Kama. Our instructors, Dj Sempai and Satoshi Sempai, have years of experience and are committed to sharing their passion for Ryuei Ryu and Karate with all students.
