"Full disclosure, I'm not a customer of Bank Of the Pacific, I am a BOFA customer. I was traveling on business through Washington and had an emergency and needed something notarized right away. I went to two different UPS stores but their notary rep wasn't there. I took a chance and walked into the Bank of the Pacific Bellingham branch on Grand Ave. They knew I wasn't a customer and helped me notarize my document anyway. It was fast and pleasant, no sales pitch (he could see I was in a rush). And the kicker, they didn't even charge me. Just a free service to a non customer!! Thank you Bank of the Pacific. You saved my bacon today. The guy that helped me was Tom Mathewson, nice guy."
"Ashley Walker and Maia Newell-Large are amazing to work with! They are so helpful. They both provide great communication."
"It wasn't Glen. It was Tom. So even when you think you're talking to a manager, again, you aren't. I had been nothing but happy with this branch until recently (early 2018- May 2019) when I learned that their employees have "constantly" complained about me since the first time I entered the building until now saying I was "nothing but disrespectful, off putting, and potentially violent" when none of those are true. I enjoyed coming to this branch, they brightened my day, if not I would have just asked for a checkbook instead of opting to go in every month. Before anyone attempts to correct me, I was specifically told that these complaints about me have been coming since I started banking at this branch. When Glen got involved everything went down hill. This bank as a whole has a problem with pushing how they think things should happen onto you, instead of doing what you asked. Like updating an address, why would they argue with you about them? Ask hoquiam, they've been doing it for 6 years. As a general rule of thumb this bank will refuse to update any and all of your information then call it a mistake. They will not forward any of you calls then call it a mistake. They can't help you update or activate your credit and debit card then call it a mistake. After years of "mistakes" I got angry, called them out, they argued with me from everything in regards to why they were refusing to update my account, and why they weren't forwarding my calls. Then they'll just close your account"
"Awesome small-town bank that doesn't nickel and dime you for every transaction. I have both a business and personal account with them, and when the time comes to get a house, I'll be sure to do my home loan through them as well. They helped me to grow my business as well without tons of fees. Highly recommend."
"Great for businesses."
