"When I started at Shoreline Community College, online classes were less than, or a little above 200$ ( pre-covid). Now one pays full class prices (books and what not), 800$ dollars or more. If you’re an immigrant or out-of-state. It is likely more. One could do better if they had the reseouces or the want. However, if Shoreline holds the corner (to say capitalize) options are limited. Not saying people who attend are bad people; attend if there are no other options. I’m sincerely questioning whether college education is worth anything."

"Dealing with any department at this school is a nightmare. The level of incompetence in all departments will cause a significant amount of stress. A drooling windowlicker could potentially complicate processes related to finances, advising, or records. My experience with Shoreline Community College has made me question the reliability of such systems as a whole."

"Both of my kids did two years of running start at this school. There is a lot of inconsistency from professor to professor in terms of the quality of teaching, organization, and communication. My daughter is currently in a physics class, where she is basically having to teach herself everything and is learning from Khan Academy, as opposed to the professor."

"I went to shoreline last fall and it was a very interesting school. They care a lot about there international students then the American students and it’s very shown in the community that they do that. They literally have an instagram account for the international students. When I went to this school I had a struggle fitting into this community as a student which is very unfortunate. 7000 campus is okay I mean it’s definitely not the best dorms and where this school is located it’s not in the safest area of Seattle. Lots of weirdos on campus I got constantly stopped by weird guys on campus when I was going to class. I would say I felt unsafe going to class more than 100% of the time . I got very lucky and I got to work with the main staff in the main building and that was amazing because they wanted me to help with the schools problems and what I had problems with. But other than that do online college it’s much more worth your time then going to this college and on this campus. Thank you shoreline for the half of the year I was there but I will not be ever returning."

"05/28/23: this CC has a beautiful campus with many trees, shades, and modern buildings around the campus. I visited it on the weekend so we could not get into any buildings but the atmosphere was great and comfortable. SCC must be lucky to live, study and work in this campus"
