"Called last minute saying workers did not show up for work. James sent one guy, and I had to be the second person to help move stuff I was paying him to do. He is rude, and obviously has some managerial issues to work on. He charged me $130 for the hour for one worker, no truck. If you want someone friendly and dependable I would look elsewhere."

"The price was reasonable and Chris and his helper (sorry I forgot your name) did a stellar job. Chris was a planner for expedience and performed his tasks quickly all the while directing and training the new guy. I can't speak for every crew but if Chris is there, you're in good hands."

"Believe the reviews. I saw quite a few of them say these guys overbook and don't show up, but most of them were old and it seemed like they had become more reliable recently. Nope! I needed them to unload a U-Haul from a move up to Washington. The U-Haul needed to be returned the next morning, so a cancellation would be a big problem--when isn't it? Booked them the week before without issues, except the owner told me the email confirmation would likely show up in the "scam folder" (freudian slip?). Never got the email. Then on the day of the move the scheduled time came and went with no one there and no call from the business. I call the office and they give me an excuse that they were held up on an earlier job. He told me he would call in 5-10 minutes with a new estimated time of arrival. Meanwhile, I immediately started scrambling for last minute alternatives, as I could see where this was going. Of course the owner didn't call back until an *HOUR* later, hemming and hawing that they weren't going to make it out. At that point I already had last minute movers lined up from Community Partnership. Tl;dr: Unreliable, no communication, and will cancel on you. Community Partnership can do same day jobs and is a cheaper option with all around better communication. Check out Community Partnership and forget these guys."

"**An update (new review & photos) for Nov 7th, 2018 below Oct 2017 review, as I used their services 2Xs (1 year apart)** On Oct 19th 2017, a great crew of 3 men (awesome attitudes and friendly helpful personalities) aided me in moving personal items (variety sized boxes and furniture and inherited precious family furniture, China & delicate decor) from my 2500 sq ft home I sold to storage. I was able to schedule the same exact team for Sunday Nov 12th to help me move from storage to my new apartment. I'm excited to see the same crew and know they will handle the items I've inherited and care for from my great grandmother. A woman I miss daily. This crew also went out of their way not only to protect all my property, but ensured extra time they had to wait due to unexpected administrative events from my storage facility. They not only waited patiently, they provided advice as we discovered I would need a bigger unit. Moving alone after divorce and chronic illness, this could have been a frightening experience for me. I am thankful for this company and their employees. The experience went so well, even with the unexpected hiccup from the storage company, I wouldn't dare let anyone else near my great grandmothers precious items. Thank you to the crew that has helped me and thank you to the company that hired thoughtful and friendly efficient movers. They were still super fast too! If I ever move again for any reason, I will be calling again on this company. No other. It is worth every penny and provided no additional stress. Oh and it was a very wet and rainy day. They forged through very professionally. Very affordable prices for such great service. ~Maureen UPDATE FOR NOV 7TH, 2018 MOVE OUT OF APT: I did in fact go back to Safe To Go Movers and again was given a great team (my prior team was not available) But they too handled my great grandmothers China hutch perfectly and moved me out of my apartment into my moving truck as I now moved out of state. Again, not a scratch or item broken, they got it done well under 2 hours, worked well together, eased my stress and strain caused by moving out of an apartment and had an inspection scheduled right after they finished loading my rental truck. My inspection went well and I was on the road to my new home still in the morning hours. ~Maureen"
