"NOT A HOME DELIVERY SERVICE. Dairy Fresh is a wholesale dairy (and pizza, juice, etc) distribution warehouse, so no... You can't call and set up a time for the friendly neighborhood milkman to drop a pint of fat free off at your backdoor. Their drivers stock the shelves of businesses or public institutions like local schools, espresso stands, convenience stores, Target, etc. The same family has operated it since it first opened it's doors in the 60s, although they seem to have expanded quite a bit. When I knew a driver there, he had been there a decade, and he always got hand -written cards and home baked goodies from customers on holidays. It's refreshing to see local businesses still contracting with regional suppliers, close enough for drivers to know all the staff by name. You just don't see that kind of thing much these days, in our global economy."
