Little Island Farm
About the Business
Little Island Farm is a charming institution located at 316 East Little Island Road in Cathlamet, Washington. Specializing in growing specialty cut flowers for the floral trade and their own floral design business, Little Island Farm aims to provide fresh, safe, local, and high-quality blooms and foliage to florists, event planners, and retail customers.
Situated on a 12-acre farm on Puget Island in the Columbia River, Little Island Farm has been sustainably farming since 2003. In addition to their beautiful flowers, they also grow fresh fruits, nuts, and a variety of pumpkins. During the fall season, they host a pumpkin patch and fall farm stand on weekends in October.
Little Island Farm offers a stunning outdoor venue for special events such as family reunions, special dinners, and weddings. Their picturesque and intimate setting can accommodate up to 110 guests with onsite parking available.
In 2022, Little Island Farm provided significant retail floral design services to the local Wahkiakum County community, including fresh florals for weddings, funerals, holidays, and other occasions with delivery services. However, for the 2023 growing season, they have decided to focus on their core business of growing and selling specialty cut flowers wholesale to the floral trade. While they will still offer DIY bulk buckets of flowers and Fresh CSF Bouquet Subscriptions, they will no longer provide florist services.

"Little Island Farm & Flowers is a local treasure! If you love fresh flowers do not hesitate to get a subscription! I have subscribed to a full season flower bouquet delivery for years and it is literally the nicest thing I do for myself. I have never regretted it and enjoy huge fresh flowers from April through October. The flowers are beautiful and long lasting. A few times a year I bring my family out to the farm to get bulbs or go to the pumpkin patch. I strongly recommend this business and Farmer Kim (as my son calls her) is knowledgeable and kind and enjoys her business!"
"Kim has incredible skill, kindness, and a personal touch when it comes to her bouquets. They are incredibly beautiful and full of unique flowers. My husband got me a bouquet subscription for valentine's last year and it was hands down the best gift ever."
"I needed to send something to family in the area to express my condolences. I was so happy to speak with Kim. She was able to email me an invoice to pay electronically and delivered the item to the front porch. Her communication was great. It is not the growing season, so the gift is just starting to sprout. By summer, the peony’s will be a beautiful remembrance of those we’ve lost. Thank you for being there for me. Shop local."
"This is my second year of subscribing to Kim's Fresh Flower Bouquets, available monthly or bi-monthly. They are always stunning and fill my home with such joy and color. I can also give them as gifts to my loved ones. She really knows how to shine her light out to the world with her flowers. What a lovely and special treat. Warm Regards, Cynthia Caster"
"A garden farm found on Puget Island that produces steam flowers and garland for NW Florist. Don’t miss their fall pumpkin patch event and tour the ever changing flower bloom beds. Fall is a great time to enjoy some local fresh picked apples.anyway, we really enjoyed our visit and hope you do too."
