"The guy I spoke with was very helpful. However, I have an older road bike and asked him about replacement. One of his statements was how they have calipers that were better than my bike calipers based on geometry. Physics wise, a caliper is constrained by spring force and distance to rim (which is adjustable on any caliper). Therefore, from my knowledge, this cannot be true and if I didn't know better would replace a caliper break without any need or benefit."

"Jason helped me today with a complex problem finding the correct set of parts and solution for updating an older bike. I was amazed at the level of effort he put into multiple parts queries finding the one compatible rear hub that would work for the conversion. He also deliberated thoughtfully considering the complexity of the conversion and walked through all the components needed double checking several times that I was ordering the correct parts and not overlooking anything. In addition to that, he thought about the end result and took the time to explain the options and limitations of the direction I was going and suggested substituting a slightly higher count chainring for better results.
