"HORRIBLE!! do not use this company. So many of my items were broken in delivery! 2 of my TVs were cracked and damaged, my couch was SOAKING WET, my dresser was broken, my electric fireplace. Do not use this company!"

"The driver was 5 stars. This rating is based upon our estimate and office communications which caused a lot of disruption and lack of proper staffing to ensure a smooth and trouble-free move. It was underbid, we ended up paying more. They sent two packers who were under-equipped to do more than 1/3 of the packing. They sent two different packers the following day. The only reason they completed the job is the loaders (3 extra people) and driver helped pack. In summary, the Allied end of the company receives 5 stars. The Coleman end of the company receives 2 stars. On the delivery end, again the driver was amazing, the off-loaders hired were amazing. The Coleman part of the company gave our driver the wrong delivery address which set them back another hour on the delivery. One star would be generous, but I gave two as our coordinator was responsive when she was called."

"We had a great experience with Allied. Staff and crew were very helpful, and our move went smoothly from start to finish. Only thing I would recommend is notifying the customer of vehicle type if they need a transfer truck. Our crew showed up in a Uhaul, and it was a little confusing at first. We had an excellent experience overall."

"Poor communication, no coordination between driver and move coordinator, poorly planned (one agreed-upon load split into two with deliveries a week apart), truly poor customer service with no apparent concern for my situation, outdoor staging of household goods in the rain, no paperwork/checking (payment receipt not provided until requested, no inventory conducted during drop off), one crew showed up with no moving equipment (dolly, etc). This was very disappointing overall. I went with Allied because they were one of the big movers (not a broker, based estimates on weight rather than volume) and we liked our initial interaction with the local coordinator, Coleman). Their prices were comparable to the other big companies (no better/worse). This was an expensive cross country move, for which we incurred a significant personal cost. We treated their folks with respect and generosity. (bought them lunch, etc.) with a belief that they would take care of us. I never felt confident during this move (note: the exception was during the drop-off of the second shipment, handled by a small company, Allegheny, out of Pittsburgh - they were professional, efficient, communicative)."

"Awful experience from start to finish. We moved from Washington to Minnesota and had communication failures at each step. It took 19 hours to load our belongings into the truck and 12 to unload it. We’ve had several moves before and it never took more than 3-4 hours at each location. We have a number of damaged items (some total losses) that we’ll be filing claims for. Would not recommend!"
