"I'd give 10 stars if I could! Dr Fung and his assistant Mercedes are the best. I was terrified about my retina surgery because of an awful experience with a different doctor, and they helped me get through it with their compassion and skill. I'll never fear retina surgery again! With them, it was so easy, and nothing to worry about. Can't recommend them enough!"
"The nurse Samantha was very nice and helpful. She helped ease my nerves. Dr Davulo was excellent. She explained Evans was comforting throughout my procedure"
"I saw Dr Fung yesterday as well as other visits in past few months and he has been great. He gave me time I needed to answer my questions about my surgery tomorrow. He also calls me after hours when I need to ask questions! Thank you Dr Fung. You are a very caring Dr and so compassionate about what you do! You are a blessing to all you serve!"
"The staff were extremely welcoming, comforting, and informative. Dr. Davouti, Luanne, and Mercedes helped me to understand what was happening the whole time and really assuaged my nervousness in doing so. Even though this office is pretty far out of my way, I’ll be willing to continue making the drive solely because of the top-notch patient experience."
"There are some wonderful aspects of this clinic. I believe most of the staff truly care about their patients. What needs improvement? 1. Patient privacy is terrible. Doors often left open where people in the waiting area overhear personal medical information, financial/billing and insurance. Staff discussing patients openly in the hallway in front of the waiting room and just outside patient doors. Also, one of their patient rooms is shared...what??? A shared room where patients can overhear everything being said and if they get up, can easily see each other when coming or going from the room. 2. Staffing. One doctor the whole day for all the patients. Doctor often seems frazzled and overworked. A former doctor who left the practice was amazing, but more recently, I've had two doctors who have gotten grumpy with me and took their frustrations out on me, which sucks. I get they are overworked and super busy, but that shouldn't be taken out on patients. 3. The billing department is short staffed. They just simply don't return your calls....ever. Even the front desk staff acknowledges this. 4. Front desk staff have been great, but they will ask for financial information or discuss your insurance and your bill in the lobby in front of all. I like to keep all my info private. Its not their fault, the set up is too small. I just don't appreciate their employer setting it up this way. They've outgrown their space, and staff and patients deserve a space where privacy is part of the care."
