"Beware working with this firm! They talk a good talk! I would not even hire this firm! Go elsewhere for a job and legal advice! An Amazon hourly position trains better, pays better, and treats people better! Other firms are more organized and treat all of their staff, no matter what, with the utmost respect! I have had multiple reception and office assistant jobs throughout my working years, and I have never experienced anything like this ever! Poor training and very low pay! Run their office uniquely, just like all others, claim they plan to train by showing their unique office procedures and “unique” data system video training. Instead, they did not even have the work station computers totally setup, and I spent one day having some person that has only worked there for only a few months and not even doing themselves as a job all the duties that they assigned my position, train me, by spewing only verbal information at me for two days straight, while walking all over the two-floor (basement) office pointing here and there. I was then set loose on day two to answer phones and perform all tasks I was verbally told, while supposedly tasked to watch the training videos. I was never given a time to watch the training videos without having to answer phones and help other staff with retrieval of files, copies and mail, at the same time (constant interruptions) while needing to focus on the video training. They provided a binder to reference on day one that was actually outdated and not even accurate, and no effort was made to fix it until day six. They said everyone was available to ask questions, but when they were busy, no one was available or they made it obvious I was annoying them as if I should just know their unique office procedures and pick it up quickly. Told by a partner they have an open door policy, I was supposed to be doing the videos, and that it was a learning curve; but, the lower staff availability was lacking, and the constant interruptions watching the videos on day two interfered with neurological retention. Having an up to date binder to reference would have at least been nice and made a stressful situation a bit easier. They allowed co-workers disrespectfully treat others and loudly gossip about others. Sadly, sound travels, so I got to hear how they really thought of me behind my back. When I brought this issue up to the two partners, they did nothing but excuse the behavior of the others, and claim I was just not a good fit on day seven. They only talk bad about former employees, and have had at least three people in that position in the last year. Totally disorganized, poor training, yet expect you to perform at an experienced level regarding their unique office procedures within two days, then if you ask any questions have to endure gossip sounds of yourself traveling through the office. Then, treat you as if you are the one wrong or doing poorly! Toxic workplace!"
"Reeves, Kahn, Hennessy & Elkins law firm is actually a scam. I called them to check out how much does it cost to represent my company to deal with a case that our tenant died and left personal properties behind. We already found a sister in California. We just need a lawyer to check paper and contact the sister. At first, the Lawyer asked us to pay up front $2500, 10 hour work? I said it was too expensive for this case. I walked away. The lawyer contacted me again and let me know that I was lucky because the case is so simple and it only takes around 3 hours to complete the case. It means I pay up front $750 and signed the retainer. After emailing around 3 times, I thought that this lawyer was not really familiar with the case and I stopped this lawyer and hired another lawyer. Two week later, this law firm sent me the bill of over $2000 and they threaten to send our case to a collection agency because I already signed the retainer. They said our case is so complicated and they have to spend over 8 hours, @$250 per hour, complete our case? Did they complete? no! only half way. Did they give us good advice? No! they give us only advice that are available for free on google. they also use a very old strategy of cheap and low level lawyers that is scared scheme. They try to make me scared of legal consequence if I don't listen to them. After complaining, We finally had to pay this scammed lawyers $1737.50 for bad advice. Why do I call them scammers? it is because they contacted me back when I walked away and convinced me that the new estimate is only 3 hours or $750. I stopped them half way and they jacked up the bill to $1737.50 for an incomplete job. To me, this is no difference than phishing that online scammers use."
"Personal service with full professionalism. Tiffany Elkins has been our lawyer at the firm and has been fantastic. She has helped me on a slew of personal and professional contracts as well as given me advise or got me advise on a large amount of concerns I have had. The firm has also referred me to different attorneys with other specialties whenever they don't feel qualified and those recommendations have been exceptional as well."
"The legal team at Reeves, Kahn, Hennessy, Harris, Elkins and Rissberger, along with all the upfront employees, operate this business in a very professional, organized, pleasant and high standard atmosphere. From the first time I walked in the front door I felt very comfortable and pleased. I met with Gary Kahn who answered all my questions and concerns. We ended up starting a good business relationship that is still working. This team takes their experience and knowledge of the law, very serious and represents good values, principles and lots of integrity. Whatever the case is, rest assured you will be pleased to have this team representing you for the most beneficial results possible. On two accounts, I have witnessed Mr. Harris in action, I find that he knows the law very well, and he is not afraid to quote it when the need arises. He does not take any form of intimidation from opposing attorneys or parties. He is also very companionable and wants to be sure you understand what he is communicating before proceeding or asking questions during any legal proceedings. His patience is admirable when questioning stubborn individuals who attempt to evade his questions with lies or playing games. Even after this, he does not take his frustration out on others, known as "kicking the cat syndrome". Michael J. Harris, Tiffany Elkins and Sara Rissberger show me that I have a good team assisting and representing me. I highly recommend anyone to contact any of them who are in need of a professional attorney."
"Tiffany Elkins was great to work with from the beginning. She helped us with buying our house. She was responsive, easy to work with and put our minds at ease. As a first time home buyer, she helped me understand the process and talked me through our options. We'll see definitely work with Tiffany and her firm again."
