"Kris is a very professional understanding compassionate person . He goes above and beyond the responsibility of his job. I would highly recommend him ."
"He is my son's lawyer."
"All calls and texts were returned extremely promptly and Mr. Wintermute was absolutely amazing and went well out of his way, above and beyond to help my loved one with every aspect of what was happening, could/would happen and extremely easy to speak with. I don't think I could even come up with a single complaint or negative comment on our experience with him."
"Kirk Wintermute is a well-respected, skilled criminal defense attorney. I can attest that he is genuinely interested in doing right by his clients and trying his best to help them obtain a great outcome. Not only is he a great attorney, but he treats his clients well and looks out for them."
"I have been charged with class A misdemeanors. Among those is resisting arrest. ADAM ARTHUR from this branch is the attorney assigned to me. He had no idea what resisting arrest was until I showed him the state statue. (One doesn’t resist arrest without the use or threatened use of force against an officer) And when I asked why he didn’t know he said “cause laws change all the time”...... he didn’t call me to let me know the plea offer until two days before sentencing was set. He no call no showed to an appointment we had set. I waited outside for 30 minutes. I could go on but I won’t. He’s a nice guy and had excuses for everything... but not sure if he’s the one you want in your cornor when looking at a max even as little as 3+years..... (I was pulled over by an unmarked police car in seaside. The officer tried pulling me out without any warning or option to comply... so I remained passive in my car requesting other officers while verbally expressing how scared I was)"
