"So when you leave Astoria Oregon heading into Washington over the Columbia River this bridge is quite intimidating two days before and all the way up until the morning we crossed there was pretty bad weather lots of wind rain and fog we were going to go the long way but woke up in the morning and my wife said there's a break in the clouds do you see the blue skies let's do it so we crossed it not a cloud touched us quite impressive Bridge as it is the longest trust Bridge in North America I recommend to drive the right lane to get a very good view of Astoria as you leave"
"I've crossed this bridge on multiple road trips and never took the time to share with the world how wonderful it is. I put this on a must for list to see if you travel the PNW."
"Sadly, our plans put us in Astoria on a very rainy and cloudy day. The pictures I have of this bridge just don't give it the justice it deserves. We drove over it from the Washington side to the Oregon side. As we approached the middle of the bridge it almost looked like the Oregon side far in the distance was going to have us driving straight up into the sky... Like we were in Hot Wheels cars about to launch off the track. That, combined with the heavy fog, made the trip over the bridge feel very eerie... But very cool. It was too foggy to get any pictures of the bridge from the Astoria side. You really couldn't see the bridge through the fog as the day went on. I wish I could have seen the bridge on a clear day, but even hugged by fog, the bridge is an amazing sight to see."
"A beautiful bridge. You can take pictures all day and they will all be gorgeous. This is a long bridge and fun to run or walk during the annual Columbia River Crossing."
"Nice bridge! I was quickly asked to STOP TAKING PICTURES AND NOT CRASH INTO THE OCEAN. Apparently this bridge looks like its going to collapse and/or cars are going to magically fall off of it. I witnessed neither phenomena and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯"
