"Unfortunately this is my kids home middle school, so.. my daughter was kicked 3 times and punched in her nose as well as threatened, the school has a no suspension to keep kids in school rule. But they disciplined him? The school can't say what was done do to privacy, but how do i even know they did anything? Not cool, because if it was on the streets, he'd be put in jail. The school had a lock down, and never notified parents. Crazy. Just not happy with the school"
"Jason Lee Middle School, should be shutdown. The staff are careless, and have little control over the students. Intimidation, fighting, drugs and sexual harassment is the daily norm for this middle school. These other reviews MUST be paid. I don't normally write reviews, however, I think it's important that parents are warned about the misconduct and chaos that goes on within the walls of Jason Lee. I sympathize with the parents and students that are forced to deal with this everyday. I'm also one of those parents, and trying to get my child into ANY other school possible. Good luck!"
"I was apart of the 2013 graduating class. The school is placed in a community where there are ups and downs. The school itself had a great vibe, but the students are a mixture of children from good homes and not so good homes. There are bullies at every school. Some teachers care, some don't. Like every school. Overall I had a great experience there."
"I go to this school and i hate it so much. this year we have to buy our supplies from the school and it cost $25. If you don't buy your school supplies from the school you will have a $25 fine. I hate the school so much and the supplies are crappy. This school has really bad kids. a lot of people are bullied and the school does NOTHING about it. If you're looking for a middle school for your child do not choose this one!"
"Holy Cow. Do Not give this school your phone number. They completely abuse their automated call system. Principle Kellet (sp?) isn't there anymore, but it's summer and I still get a call a week from the Principle with another "reminder". I miss school newsletters... Not to mention the last Principle trying to get us to vote on something or rather during one of my son's Orchestra performances - not what I came to see and was ready to get on with watching my child preform. Half of the teachers don't know how to take attendance, so my son was constantly having to take notes to them to correct it. And they will call you for that, too. But towards the end of the year, you'll stop caring to answer your phone because you recognize the number and don't want to hear about what next years 6th graders are doing because it literally has nothing to do with you. So your kid could be skipping class, but at that point you don't care because if you have to put up with that much stupid - you can imagine what your child has to put up with. Make sure your child doesn't end up getting bullied either - they won't do anything about it. Sure, they have anti-bullying assemblies, but that's all for show and they could careless who's picking on who because it's just another school year for them and they are counting down the hours until summer again."
