Reviews of IslandWood
"We photographed a wedding the other weekend at IslandWood and, as usual, they absolutely NAILED the service, food, organization, literally every part of the day. This place knows what they are doing, and we absolutely love photographing here! It's simply gorgeous!"
"Amazing property & the staff is such a pleasure to work with!!! All staff is so friendly and so helpful!!! I can’t say enough good things about the staff - they’re amazing!! Food is excellent and they are so accommodating of diets and allergies! Just ask!!! And all the desserts are phenomenal! This was my second time going to the property and it was wonderful!!! The property is filled with many hiking trails of all levels! They have access for paved ways, etc. It’s an amazing place conveniently located just a ferry ride away from seattle! Rooms are spacious and clean! No complaints- beds and pillows were fine."
"Our first time coming here on the free day, the kids really enjoyed the treehouse and tower. We didn't even explore everywhere and were there for 2 hours. We hope to go again and try different trails."
"We were here for a wedding and thought it was great. The buildings are all high quality and blend in nicely. The campfire was more of an amphitheater with a big vented roof. The hiking was amazing too"
"Island wood is amazing! It’s the perfect balance of outdoor hiking and developed land! There are over 200 acres of very walkable and very kid-friendly walking paths. There are a few paved paths towards the welcome center, but most of the paths are not paved. If you have kids, a stroller will work just fine. The suspension bridge and the treehouses are so cool - highly recommend checking both of these out! Such an amazing place, I plan to come back during the summer and bring food for a picnic."
