"Easily overlooked but a wonderful building and a great tour."
"Interesting place to stop in and visit. Tour was free and we were the only ones there. Lots of great historical documents."
"Claire gave my husband (a Mason) and I (serious appreciator of history) a wonderfully thorough tour of the Temple. She answered all our questions to the best of her ability. The tour is amazing. I’m in awe of all artifacts they have and share with the public. The Pike exhibit is not to miss. My next favorite is the library. If you’ve not been here and have seen the Washington Masonic Memorial you must also visit this place as well."
"Amazing place to visit. Add this place to your list of places to visit in DC. So much history and so many artifacts in this building. Not just about Scottish Rite but of the US as well. The tour guide, Lily, was knowledgeable about every room and almost every artifact. Whether or not you are a Mason or a Scottish Rite member you will learn something and see some one of a kind architecture!"
"This building is magnificent, absolutely stunning inside and out. A great free tour for anyone, I highly recommend you see it for yourself. Even if you are not affiliated with the Freemason's the history of the building and grandeur can't be beat. I was so surprised to learn so much about the building, what it holds and the people who have shaped it's history. Please, please, please don't pass this place by or take it for granted it's amazing to see in person. They do ask for no video taping inside but you are free to take pictures. I couldn't get enough of this place."
