"I called for a quote and was told it was going to be $175 if the car wheels are turning and an extra $65 if not because they’d need to use a dolly. The guy shows up, the car wheels are turning, we get on the road. We reach the destination, I ask how much do I owe. He says $240. I ask why not $175? He says because he had to use the dolly. Why did he had to use the dolly if the wheels were turning, remained unclear. Nobody likes surprises. If he told me in advance that for whatever reason it was unavoidable and he had to use the dolly for an extra charge, I would be fine with it. But when you just state it as inevitable at the destination, it feels like a scam. I don’t have a PhD in towing, I have no idea what a dolly is. I’m in the middle of a roadside emergency and need help. The person showed up and took advantage of it. Nobody likes that."

"It cost me a decent amount to get my car back but they were pretty helpful and didn't charge me further when I notified them I was on my way to come get it. $400 later I have my car back but it's totalled from the accident. The towing people must have had a hard time getting it out of the ditch. All in all decent service if you're in need"
