"I’ve been going the same doctor, Dr. Senden at the sunrise facility for 12 years he retires and I get a bill for $500. I was told that it was an oversite now it’s gone to collections and the people in the sound family medical benefits are denying me medical treatment or medication‘s to treat my A1c total holding me hostage for a payment. I offered to make $50 payments every two weeks and they said it wasn’t good enough. I need to pay in full. This place is so crooked. I cannot believe it. I hope there’s a course of action, I can get some kind of resolve to this you don’t hold a person hostage when he’s willing to make payments of their life-threatening medication , I am seeking new doctor care in my network. I can’t cannot believe how these people operate the worst. I hope people can investigate them in their practices."
"I’ve been coming to sound family since I was a kid (literally). They’ve always been fantastic over the years in every single way. Today was the first time in my entire life being let down a bit by the clinic. This is my first time being pregnant and came in for my first appointment today. I checked in nice and early, waited 30 min passed my appointment time to be called back (which I really didn’t care too much about), but then my appointment just felt rushed and not very special unfortunately. I was grateful there was a student with Jen Hrivnak today because otherwise the appointment would’ve been a total letdown. I just felt like my questions weren’t addressed very well and my ultrasound went so fast. I was being wiped off and had to ask if we could hear the heartbeat since I’m 9 weeks along and she literally said she’ll try but she’s not the best at it… I’m here for my first ever baby.. I can see the heartbeat on the screen but you don’t know how to let me hear it? It was kind of sad :( I hope my next appointment with the actual OB/GYN is more thorough and compassionate. I love Jen and have seen her before so I was kind of surprised by how my appointment went today. The student was so sweet and constantly had reassuring things to say, helped me get off the ultrasound table, etc. I’m a medical assistant so at least I know a little bit about what to look for on the ultrasound but I just expected what I was looking at to be explained a bit more than just saying “this is the yolk sac” and “that’s the heart beating”. I received two pictures and neither of them even have my name, birthday or the correct date on them… it literally says 2002 as the year! I really hope next time goes smoother or I might have to choose a more detail oriented clinic for this special time in my life. I’m grateful I was able to see the baby and the heartbeat."

"I showed up for my appointment 30 minutes early and I waited 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. So 1 hour all together, and I never got called back. Even though atleast 3 groups of people had come and gone and I was the only one left waiting. When I asked the receptionist what's going on, she made the excuse that their systems were down. But clearly for the other 4 doctors there that weren't having issues somehow the one I was supposed to see was. I realized she had just either not checked me in properly or checked me in way after I got there and checked in."
