He knew his history of the town, the events that occurred there, the buildings, etc. and weaved that history well as he transitioned into his haunted tales. "This was our first ghost tour as a family, and it is going to be quite a treasured memory! We are here visiting Yorktown in February, and were lucky enough to have ended up with a private tour on a weeknight. When my daughter spotted our tour guide Jeff carrying a lantern, he greeted us and she turned to me and said, "Mom, I REALLY like our tour guide!" She's a good judge of character. He was great with the kids (mine are ages 9 and 7) and you can tell he really loves giving these tours. He was so patient, and thoughtfully weaved the history of Yorktown into the stories. I have read a lot about this area getting the kids ready for this trip, and it was clear that Jeff has done years of research and knows so much about local history.
