Opus School of Music

"Would not recommend this Camas music school. The reasons are related to unprofessional office staff and not the music lessons themselves. My child has grown and benefited from the music lessons she received, and we are pleased with that aspect of Opus. Unfortunately, this 2 star review is related to the front office staff, which usually consists of two people. They are always openly discussing students, student families, and their opinions of them to each other. Every time we are there, literally every time we’re there, they loudly talk about how, “student A’s mom didn’t call to cancel the day of and is bossy,” or “student B’s dad has no idea when the lesson starts and is a pain to talk to.” Every single time! It is extremely rude and unprofessional. They even talk openly about teachers and other staff members, even while some of those colleagues are there on site. Opus management, teach your front office staff professionalism – you can do better. I am not confident my personal information won’t be openly discussed for other guests to hear."

"Taylor has been amazing for my daughter. She loves her time there and really looks forward to going to her lesson each week. I have seen her confidence soar! Annalise says " Taylor is the most patient, supportive, and nicest teacher "!"

"We have had our kids learning with Opus for many years now taking voice and piano classes. We have done camps and group classes such as a music theatre camp and band. These have all been enjoyable and we love the the teacher we have had especially Cynthia!"

"My daughter has been taking the Superstars class at Opus School of Music and loves it. Her teacher Amanda is extremely friendly and welcoming for the young children in this class. She comes home happy and excited to tell me about the things she's learned and fun music games they played. She is very excited to continue on with the ukulele band after the superstars class. The school has been very friendly, the front desk staff always accommodating, easy to enroll in classes, is helpful with arranging makeup classes, etc. Highly recommend."
