"The arts department was great, however some of the teachers methods of teaching were not the best. Some would only show videos, others were completely offtopic for about half the class period. They have 2 lunches and is completely closed campus. My counselor did not help me at all. It was a pain to get anything done. She told me she would give me a appointment with the assisant principal and ended up switching schools."
"Amazing theater/auditorium. The school has spectacular performances. Outside theater group can rent the space as well. Overall the facility is good."
"Nice campus. Clean and well maintained. Nice auditorium. Enjoyed a play here. But Google maps directed is wrong and took us around by way of 34th and P street, to the elementary school behind the high school. It's best to get there from 39th."
"The teachers are lazy with their jobs and take there benefits too far. They assign more homework then they teach and give test on material that has not yet been covered. Majority of the staff is lazy however, the principle Mr. Hansen is a very good guy and treats kids with kindness and respect."
"Washougal High School employs a handful of teachers who're genuinely dedicated to their jobs who're constantly being held back by an incompetent administration and always having to teach the sate mandated curriculum to the lowest common denominator of students who only show up out of a sense of obligation."
