"It’s the most fantastic place to be in......so far the school and people here haven’t proved me wrong as far as being the best school I’ve ever been to in my all school life of learning. Teachers here give you the best teaching no doubt, their all really responsible so far and their really respective so far as I witnessed. Love this school love it love it love it, thank you teachers helping me be successful. Have a great day everyone."
"This is a fantastic school. The teachers are reasonable and care about the students success, great sports coaches, the students have a lot of spirit especially when it comes to sports. Only issue is it's a bit crowded, however the building will be getting rennovations within the next 3 years"
"Would not recommend this school to anyone who has/ or is a student with special education needs. We had a very distasteful/ frustrating experience during the school year. Some of the school staff were not willing to accommodate my child's IEP (which also did not accurately reflect my child's needs when it was drawn up with the school), and one teacher went as far as refusing to provide my child's assigned homework when I asked for it. Most situations with my child and their courses and homework, were poorly handled and near the end of the school year all communication stopped between the school staff and myself, making it seem as if the school had simply "washed their hands" of my child. We have since, transferred out of the district, and are having to repeat my child's freshman year all over again, which is unacceptable for a student who is on an IEP/in special education."
"Great school. small, kids were as nice as you'll get in public school. Hardly any violence, very low rate of drug use. decently maintained and good teachers. In my opinion you won't find a better school experience anywhere else."
"Graduated from here 2012. Only a few students were doing any drugs, the most common "drug" was tobacco, the least common was a couple of students smoked marijuana, that was the extent of the "drug problem" at this school. The staff are really great, but because of a federal law, this school has to undergo a mascot change, soon the Columbia River Chieftains will be the Columbia River Rapids. There was also an amazing teacher here by the name of Mr. Beauchamp, they got rid of him my senior year and said that he was giving drugs to students, This was never the case. He would make jokes a lot and a couple of students who got butt-hurt about it and told administration about it, so he quit, so that a huge deal wouldn't be made out of something that small. He didn't want to get all of the students pulled into it. These teachers really care about the students."
