Transportation Center

"While this review does not reflect all of the Olympia School District bus drivers, my wife and I have had a very poor experience when dealing with a specific driver named Corey Snow. After calling the Transportation Center to speak to someone about a concern of mine, my wife and I were accused by Mr. Snow of calling his supervisor to complain about his performance. Not only did he accuse us of something we did not do, he verbally berated my wife as children were boarding the school bus the following morning. When my wife tried to speak, he spoke louder and cut her off. Understandably, she was upset and disappointed by the way he spoke to her and handled the situation. After informing me of what had happened, I reached out to the Transportation Center again and spoke w/ a supervisor named Rhonda. I would like to say Rhonda was very accommodating and professional. She listened to my concerns and reviewed the film from the school bus to determine that Mr. Snow was in the wrong and that he overstepped his boundaries. That afternoon while getting my daughter off the bus, I attempted to speak w/ Mr. Snow to clear the air but he closed the doors in my face and yelled through the doors "back 3 feet away from his vehicle". After I stepped away, he then opened the doors to inform me if I have anything to say "I can call the Transportation Center and speak to someone there"... Which I ended up doing again for a third time. Moving forward, it was decided by his supervisor Rhonda that Mr. Snow needed time to cool down because he does not handle stressful situations well. It has been a month since the incident and Mr. Snow completely ignores my wife and I. As I mentioned before, this review does not reflect all Olympia School District bus drivers.. Corey's substitute on Wednesday's does an excellent job of communicating and being professional. In my opinion, Mr. Snow could learn a few things from his substitute so he can demonstrate the same abilities..."

"Great people work there. Working at Transportation is a challenging, but rewarding job. Everyone involved has a huge responsibility for the safety of children's lives. Most people doing their challenging job with a great attitude. I worked there for 3 years and I always looked forward to going to work there."
