Scatter Creek Montessori

Scatter Creek Montessori is a unique nature preschool located at 18125 Tamara Lane Southwest in Rochester, Washington. As a school for children ages 3-6, we offer a Montessori education that takes place outdoors on our farm campus year-round. Our focus is on interest-led learning, allowing children to explore and discover the world around them in a joyful and meaningful way.

At Scatter Creek Montessori, we prioritize a Montessori peace curriculum, promoting collaboration, problem-solving, and acceptance of diversity among our students and families. We are committed to creating a safe and inclusive learning community, with specific precautions and procedures in place to ensure the well-being of all.

Founded and run by LGBTQ and POC individuals, we celebrate and promote diversity in all forms. Our farm is located on the ancestral lands of the Chehalis and Cowlitz indigenous peoples, and we are inspired by their long-standing tradition of outdoor education.
