"I was with a group from Shoreline Parks and Rec and was extremely happy I went despite not sleeping well the night before. The tour started with pastries and coffee in the lodge. We then were assigned a docent (JC I think) who took us all over the campus. She was knowledgeable about the history of the school, glass techniques, artists, etc. We got to watch different artists and see what they are working on. This place has a magical vibe. GO!!! They only offer tours in the spring before classes start."

"The best "glass school" in the world. Possibly, the best art school in the world although it only deals with glass. The "Artist In Residence Program" is simply fabulous. Think of it as a commune where everyone is so charged up they never sleep. Sessions generally are 2.5 weeks.......the best teachers and students."
