"The greatest selection of records at the most affordable prices I've come across in Portland."
"I had actually been recommended to come here from the people at Everyday Music, as I was specifically looking for House and Techno releases which are quite hard to come by where I come from. This is a very small store, but has a surprisingly diverse collection of records at unbelievably reasonable prices. Most record stores I've visited always seem to have a "niche" (usually indie rock, whatever that means), but I can't say that's the case here. If you want to know what this place has in stock, you really have to see it for yourself. With regards to the people running the store, the sales staff were very knowledgeable and were even kind enough to refer me to another store (Clinton Street Music) to yet again feed the electronic record purchasing binge I had been on that weekend. It's very clear to me that these guys take great care in ensuring everything that passes through their store is a valuable piece of music. Even the dollar bin was filled with unexpectedly solid singles and EPs, whereas elsewhere this would typically consist of heavily scratched classical records and Christmas albums. With all that said, keep up the good work! Visiting your store was definitely a highlight of my time in Portland, and I hope I get the chance to visit this place again."
"Awesome shop. The owner Andrew is super helpful. He didn't have the record I was looking for, but offered to text me when it came in. A couple days later he did, as promised. Killer. I've already gone back once to buy stuff I'd seen the first time I went in, and I plan on going in this Friday to scoop up some stuff they've promoted in an email. Great customer service, effective marketing, cool shop I want to hang out in for a while"
"Found this place by accident, now my girlfriend and I intend to come back as often as possible! The owner is the coolest record shop guy I've ever met, totally helpful, and super friendly. Plus, the selection of electronic music is splendid! I could dig through the bargain bins (multiple and overflowing with cool stuff!) for hours! Definitely worth going out of your way to spend an afternoon here!"
"Not your dusty packed record store, but a calming space with a great selection of new and used everything. They have two turntables up front for listening, as well as a small gallery space in the back. The staff was friendly and willing to answer questions with real answers. No music snob attitude, just real love for sound."
