Welcome to Firehouse 4 Venue, located at 1210 Rivermont Avenue in Lynchburg, Virginia! Let us be the spark for your unforgettable event, whether it's a wedding reception, anniversary, party, corporate meeting, or any other special occasion. Our eclectic, industrial space is the perfect backdrop for your vision.
We provide tables, chairs, and tablecloths, with set up and tear down included in the price. For events serving alcohol, renters must obtain an ABC license or provide a licensed bartender. All events at Firehouse 4 Venue require event insurance.
Our building can accommodate a maximum of 100 guests, with seating for up to 70. Parking is available at the venue for smaller events, and larger events can utilize the nearby Gospel Community Church parking lot.
We provide tables, chairs, and tablecloths in various colors. Light cleaning and bagged trash removal are included in the price, with caterers responsible for removing their own trash. A deposit is required to secure your date, with final payment due 30 days before the event.
We accept check or Venmo for payment, with a refundable security deposit required. Decorations are allowed, and access to the venue for decorating is strictly at the time listed on your contract. We do not provide catering or music services, but you are welcome to choose your own caterers.
Alcohol is allowed with the proper license or bartender. Firehouse 4 Venue was originally Firehouse 5 of Lynchburg, built in 1905 and decommissioned in 1995. Tim and Shannon Woodland now own the venue, sharing this historic space with others.

"We hosted my mom's 60th birthday party at the Firehouse 4 Venue, and it was absolutely perfect. The owner is timely, and quick to answer any important day-of questions, well in advance. He made sure we felt at home, with more than enough space for setting up food and other party related items. Seeing all of the history in an old fire station made the event even better! We highly recommend this venue and will be using them for future events!"

"We recently hosted a rehearsal dinner for about 40 people at this location. The firehouse has a really nice relaxed atmosphere and looked beautiful with the patio lights and the outdoor garden space. There were still items from when it was a working firehouse that were on display which added to the fun environment. Tim and Shannon were great to work with and really went above and beyond to be sure we had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and they had plenty of tables and chairs available as well as table cloths if you needed them. We appreciate Tim and Shannon for all their help!"
"Tim was so kind and welcoming. He prepared extra touches for us for our stay! The apartment was well stocked, cleaned and prepared for our stay here. Very close to downtown Lynchburg with parking spaces available for friends to visit. Beds were comfortable and there was fun activities to do during the stay while looking at all the firehouse decor and historical information. Would highly recommend and would stay again!!"
