Reviews of Fort Walla Walla Museum
"This museum is not part of the national or state park system. It is a locally-run museum, and admission is only $10 for adults. The exhibits are very well done and informative. It would take almost a whole day to see the whole museum and all it's outdoor buildings. For anyone interested in local history this is a great place to visit."
"The effort to put activities together for the kids and the ice cream is a plus. It's a weird and different museum, but you can tell the community cares, in general. Great effort and you can learn."
"Very informative, lots of things to see. This museum was created by families that lived here to preserve the history so there are a lot of items and photos. My favorites were the prison info, the quilts, and finding my great grandfather's donation stone!"
"Had an excellent time with my daughter and her fourth grade class. Anita, our guide (docent), led us through the exhibits and gave us background and context for all of the pieces. Everything was clean, the staff in the gift shop was friendly, and there was a lot to see both inside and out. We appreciated the A/C in the main building and the nicely kept grounds outside. The play structure was fun to have as well (although a little full with so many students)."
