Mozark Mountain Works

Mozark Mountain Works is a custom design and build wood and metal shop located in the Allegheny Mountains of West Virginia. Founded by Robin and Michael McClintock, the institution specializes in creating custom objects and projects, including adaptive reuse historic building projects, custom furniture from reclaimed materials, and vintage vehicle restoration. The McClintocks' dedication to bringing old and discarded items back to life is evident in all of their work, which is informed by the belief that form, function, and design are deeply connected.

Originally from New York City, Robin and Michael moved to rural West Virginia over 20 years ago and established Mozark Mountain Works on abandoned farmland within the Monongahela National Forest. Robin, trained as a painter/printmaker, and Michael, trained as a sculptor, bring their artistic backgrounds to their work, creating a unique blend of industrial aesthetics and natural inspiration.

With a 5,000 sq ft wood and metal shop on their farm, the McClintocks are able to fully utilize their skills in woodworking and metalworking to bring their clients' visions to life.
