Reviews
"i walk around here all the time. when it rains, it gets super slippery. like, ive seen so many people unintentionally backflip and land flat, quite a fun sight! theres a few benches around, so you too could sit and watch. idea: you could also sit and blow bubbles for fun when its raining."
"red square is slippery when wet and especially if you put dish soap right before it rains which is great because theres a livestream so you can watch people slip across it. my friend also got attacked by a bird on red square while she was walking to class but unfortunately it was outside the view of the livestream so we couldnt watch it again. and according to one kid in my dorm its a good spot to skateboard at 3 am."
"Cool place to visit, to enjoy the views of the UW campus, and especially when there are events and other fun activities happening at the Red Square."
"Red square at the U of W is both an imposing and intimate space depending on the time of day and year. A central hub that leads to all points on campus and is itself, a destination spot when looking for the grandeur, history and views that the U of W is rich in. Add it to your list of places to visit, even if you don't have a relative attending the university. Great spot for a meet-up, picnic lunch or sightseeing!"
"Beautiful square with a gothic catherdal-style building on one face, and cherry blossom trees scattered throughout. Definitely visit in March/April when the trees are in full bloom."
