"This is a great historical landmark in Culpeper. It's significance isn't just limited to the local community though. It has great value to US history and is a must visit for Revolutionary and Civil War buffs. Our tour guide, David, was an excellent host and had a wealth of knowledge to share. It's fantastic for grade school kids as there are lots of hands on activities for them to engage in."

"Discovered this awesome historical house in Culpepper built in mid 1700s. It’s almost completely original. It has lots of interesting artifacts and the folks working there really knows the history. We were the only ones there and an hour went by just hearing about the stories from early colonial, revolutionary war, and civil war days. We even got to hold a rifle from the revolutionary war. Definitely worth visiting if you enjoy learning about American history."
