"Great place for the whole family to hang out or just yourself..a lot of trails to choose from, and a great little marina to go fishing, rent a boat or buy some snacks. Walk to Pointe Ruston from here. Restaurants near by, or take a ferry ride to the island. Lots to do! Have fun!!"
"There were some SQUID angler's, but while I was there, I saw no SQUID being caught. They are only allowed to fish for SQUID till 5:00 P.M. SO DON'T BOTHER TO BRING LIGHTS."

"Whether you drive in, walk in, or wander in from the beach, this marina area is very fun. Folks are almost always fishing, boats are floating nearby, and there are several art installations to check out. There is also a restroom and bait shop which makes this a great break during any park hikes."
