"Located just off Logan Circle is the former home of General and Senator John A. Logan. The residence was built in 1878 and in the 1880’s was John A. Logan’s residence. There are four suites in the home named in honor of Logan, Frederick Douglas, Ulysses Grant, and Abraham Lincoln. The red brick multistory home is located just steps away from the center of Logan circle where the statue of Logan on horseback is situated."
